bottom S-Mount is not fun

The Big Cheese; switch out after 3 wins. The cheese has top mount with crossface + one low underhook. Win by scoring / submitting or escaping from mount (back control does not count as an escape).
S-Mount: Entry and Control
- Start in top mount
- Get at least a little space between uke's elbow and torso and drive your knee up all the way to their head. I like to post my same-side hand or elbow on the far side of uke's head to help drive my knee up. You could also use Modern Mount Control.
- With your other hand, look for a far side underhook / triceps control. Getting a two handed butterfly grip around uke's far triceps will give you a ton of control here.
- Posture up, straighten out your far leg, and pull your heel back, into S-Mount.
Position and Control
- Hips facing perpendicular to uke's spine
- Thigh juuuust below uke's shoulders
- Legs squeeze together - your heel and knee can be close to each other
- Bottom hand posting on uke's hips / the ground
- Your weight is centered on uke's upper chest
You can use S-Mount: Attach Chain #1 from here.
Keys
- The farther uke's elbows are from their torso, the easier they are to control.
References
S-Mount: Attack Chain #1
- Start in S-Mount
- Far side wristlock
- Far side americana - posture and pull up before rotating
Uke defends with their near hand
- Your near side elbow crook catches uke's near side forearm and pins it to your chest
- Posture up, using your torso to straighten out uke's arm
- Post your free hand on the near side ground next to uke's hip, lean slightly towards uke's hips, and shave your near knee over uke's face. Your knee over uke's face should mostly be the only thing moving.
- Finish, still on top, with your knees together.
Variations
- Use your elbow + near side leg to trap uke's arm and scrape it into your armpit for an armpit armbar.
- Step over to finish the armbar. I, personally, think this is strictly inferior because you have to open up more.
Keys
- Uke's far elbow is the biggest escape risk.
