S-Mount: Attack Chain #1

June 27, 2023
  1. Start in S-Mount
  2. Far side wristlock
  3. Far side americana - posture and pull up before rotating
Uke defends with their near hand
  1. Your near side elbow crook catches uke's near side forearm and pins it to your chest
  2. Posture up, using your torso to straighten out uke's arm
  3. Post your free hand on the near side ground next to uke's hip, lean slightly towards uke's hips, and shave your near knee over uke's face. Your knee over uke's face should mostly be the only thing moving.
  4. Finish, still on top, with your knees together.
Variations
  • Use your elbow + near side leg to trap uke's arm and scrape it into your armpit for an armpit armbar.
  • Step over to finish the armbar. I, personally, think this is strictly inferior because you have to open up more.

Keys

  • Uke's far elbow is the biggest escape risk.
