April 17, 2023
  1. start in bottom mount - uke is in a low mount
  2. do any mount escape that gets you some space under one of uke's thighs. e.g.
    • corner frame on uke's hips (this is the same frame we use to elbow escape)
    • power shrimp to the same side as your hands and push with beltline frame, turning your knee outward
  3. pull your knee into the gap and use it as a frame
  4. use your inside hand to clear your head & push their torso away (armpit post)
  5. move your head in the opposite direction, towards their ankle
  6. close your SLX (outside heel on hip, inside foot hidden, knees together)

Keys

  • knee frame
  • keep head free
  • cut angle
