- Start standing, square stances
- Uke reaches for a same side shoulder
- Same side hand waxes off and guides across
- Opposite hand gets a deep triceps grip, plant your lead leg, and drag across and up
- Same side hand covers the far hip

- Step back with the outside foot while lowering your level and hinging down with your torso. a.k.a. 'hiking a football'
