Beginner

Hands

  • Matching
  • Bumping
  • Hold Jugs with fingers and palm; with maximum contact
  • Hold Underclings similarly to Jugs, but ideally with your hand around mid-body
  • Hold Slopers with maximum palm and hand contact, ideally with your body below the hold and arms straight
  • Hold Volumes on their edges like you would hold a Jug.

Feet

  • Matching
  • Smearing e.g. on Volumes

Body

  • Straight arms, pivot around those arms at the shoulder joint, use your legs to move
  • Knee drop

Intermediate

Hands

  • Hold Crimps with (1) open-handed crimp (2) half crimp
  • Hold Pinches with fingers and thumb opposing. Maximize use of your thumb.
  • Hold Pockets (slots and heucos and monos) with your two fingers most similar in length.

Feet

  • Toe & Inside Edge
  • Flagging
  • Heel Hook

Body

  • Rockover - e.g. from a heel hook position, driving with your other leg to get your hip up and on top of your heel
  • Mantle

Advanced

Hands

  • Hold Crimps with (3) full crimp
  • Hold Pinches with fingers and thumb opposing. Maximize use of your thumb.

Feet

  • Toe Hook
  • Knee Bar

Body

  • Dynos start hips out, go in then back out. more time to work than if you start with hips at the wall and are falling away for the whole movement
  • Bat hang - i.e. a double foot toe hook
  • Overhang
